Abbey, Museum

The symbol of Tihany, the benedictine abbey stands above the lake for almost thousand years. Its founding charter from 1055 is the oldest hungarian written text known. After admission you can have a look at the fancy baroque interior, the crypt of King Andrew the 1st, and other exhibitions.
